As a Renton City Councilmember, she championed issues of inclusion and equity, drawing on her experience as a small business owner and immigrant. She focused on an equitable COVID-19 recovery that puts vulnerable families, small businesses, and local needs first.

These are the priorities and experiences Kim-Khanh hopes to bring to the County Council –  thoughtful, community-focused leadership committed to ensuring that district 9 thrives. She will bring this new approach to the Council, centered on access to economic opportunity, innovative public safety improvements, and support for seniors, veterans, and immigrants.
