Vietnamese American Catherine Mai Lan Fox is a former competitive swimmer who won two Olympic gold medals at the 1996 Atlanta summer games. Afterwards, she swam for Stanford University where she won many titles, including 12 all-American honors and an American record in the 100-yard backstroke. She is currently running her own private somatic therapy practice and co-authors the Swim Jim program, which teaches adults and children how to swim.
